INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

For those of you who haven't yet been convinced of my devotion to my girls, here is a picture of my Barred Rock, Cricket, wearing a crocheted sweater because she's lost most of her feathers in her molt.
pipd ~ My BR, Tweedy, commented that Cricket's crocheted sweater is certainly an improvement over your BR Kate's pink polyester housecoat, but that BR Cricket should consider a houndstooth tweed that would complement her natural coloring. Tweedy also said that Cricket's autumn colors should now be replaced with festive jewel tones, which would be striking with her graphic display of black and white. You had better head to the yarn store, pipd! Just joking with you! ;)
Oh, that wasn't Kate, that was Cricket as well. She has the most miserable molts, poor thing! That was actually in January, so she did start her molt early this season. Here is last molting season's style:

And this season - "What is this evil contraption?!"

(P.S. I should probably say, my mom did the crochet work. I just found the pattern for her to use. ;) We went with camo because it was either that or bright orange and I thought that might be like taping a sign to her back that said, "Free Buffet--Pre-Plucked!")

Minmin - The one that is solid black looks like either a Black Australorp or Black Jersey Giant. You can determine the difference by looking at the bottoms of her feet. If they're whitish/pinkish, she is a Australorp, and if they're yellowish/greenish, she is a Jersey Giant.

The one with red neck feathers is a black sexlink, also known as a Black Star if you prefer. :)

I don't know on the last one. I'm thinking California Whites look like that, but I'm not totally sure.

First girl has dark grey legs and feet and her skin is also dark. She is normally very thick feathers and a tall comb and wattle. She lays med colored brown eggs.
Look at the bottom of the feet. If they are Yellow, then it is probably a Jersey Giant. It could be a Java, but they are very rare around here. If the bottoms are white or pink, you probably have an Australorp.
