I have to thank @lilmizscareall for the chance to buy her quad of partridge cochin bantams! They are just absolutely perfect and excited to add them to the breeding project!

Hey, I am flyladyrocks daughter. I was at chick fest.I hope that I will get to know you all!
So...do you have Miss Matilda Gray in with the kids? How's that going? (Her b-day was on the Sunday before Labor Day last year.)
She's the big boss and she doesn't let them forget it! Their interactions are a lot like the big sister vs. little siblings type, where she's too cool to hang out with them but she's glad to boss them around.
So she doesn't sit or preen with them or anything, but she does shoo them away when she wants to eat or drink, or when they are on HER perch, or in HER dust bath. I've seen Mabel challenge her twice now, and Till flares up and puts her right back in her place.
It seems to be going well, but we'll see once the baby flock joins the big-girl flock.
)PS: I want some of those "cuddling" types. How do they get along together?

Just lovely.
Also Curious, how many breeding pens are you planning for next season? Right now I'm at 6 pens with one of them being turkeys. Then I'll have a layer flock that will have fertile eggs but just mutts so no hatching from there unless I have no eggs from any of the 6 breeding pens.
AWWWWWW!!!
This makes me miss them!
I am excited to see the results, though. You'll have to float me a few eggs in the future. They are great birds, but I'm happy to see them move on. Sorry, we couldn't chat longer.
