I name my all my chickens by traits. I think 90% of my Buckeyes are named Bucky. Lol. Got one boy that limps that I call Gimp. One boy that the guineas plucked from shoulder to tail that I call Baboon. An australorp that only has toe nubs from frostbite or something that I call Skippy cause he skips instead of running... I'm horribly creative. Lol

I haven't posted any chicken pics for awhile so I thought I would take a few. I don't remember who was wanting Quail D'Anver's here is my little cockerel and pullet pair!! Not for sale but chicks maybe in the future.

They are very sweet birds easy to handle.
Here is Cricket looking over his laying hens.

This a bad pic but it's our LF Cochin coop (and a few other breeds) if you can pic him out Huckleberry we got from kabhyper1 and he is my boys bird.

Here is Crickets little twin brother from the same hen and roo!

Here is our Muscovy drake Si and his two boys that are growing up to be huge scovys!!

And a couple of our horses Buddy the paint and Starfire they wanted their pics taken also lol

Aww there's my boys. Huckleberry looks happy. Pretty birds all of them. And there's my future horse Miss Starfire.

lol j/k I do need to get over there and work with them though.

My little blue partridge silkie pullet is a little fella. I can usually tell sex of my own chicks, but he slipped by me. LOL I would have never known if those sneaky streamers hadn't started peeking out of the back of his head. He is soooo girly looking!

Wow... He is beautiful!!! I do not usually care for the way silkies look. He does look very hen like to me but I do not have silkies.

I have been scrolling through the pics. on here and i just have to say, Indiana chickens rock !!! have you guys noticed? they just seem to be a bit brighter, healthier, over all better looking chickens then others?? must be something in the air.
