I would LOVE some snow. Not a bit here...just mud and rain and I'm sick to death of it. Go Seahawks...hope Brady loses his head!

YES!!!! My DD is at Purdue and sent me pictures this morning of their snow.......little brat, lol.

Well we got a ton of snow. I weighed it, its at least a ton.

We have been busy. Family stuff, and keeping the animals fat and happy. I still have a house full of barn residents. A brood of almost 3 month old paint silkies, 3 OEGB girls, a broody on 5 lf cochin eggs Im hatching for a friend. The 5 dogd that actually live in my house full time, and the newest member of our family, Gracie. She is a 5 month old broken lilac English Angora. She is currently on my lap watching the super bowl with me. I will have silkies available in pairs, trios, or single breeder quality cockerels soon if anyone is interested. I hope everyone is staying safe and warm!

@kabhyper1 Awww Gracie is so adorable. We too are snowed in. I think I probably shoveled my path to the barn 4 times today, and I am sure it has disappeared! I too have a Rooster on the bathroom sink sleeping and a Hen hanging out watching Katy Perry on the super bowl halftime show. Not too sure about the creepy beach balls dancing around. LOL

You mentioned you would have silkies...I am looking for Cochins? I really am looking for a Cochin Rooster so I can hatch some!

yep that's snow that is here...and most all downstate got hammered...but no snow today here....but good news got another 7 peafowl today....I got the flu....too....the bird flu...lol....here are some pics of the new birds.


















tomorrow the straw goes in and a bunch of perches...I cant wait to get some pics of them out of the boxes...

The one news station just gave a snow total for us of 13.5 inches and still snowing! The roads are horrible. All schools around here are closed tomorrow - kids are pretty happy about that
