This morning I see a craigslist ad for 2 free pekin females "need gone today". I text at 10 am and last heard from them at around 12pm. But, no pick up time, no directions, no still available, no we have someone coming to get them already. It's an hour away and if it gets much later, I'm going to say forget it. I don't understand with all the ways to connect with someone, the communication is so very lacking. As well, this ad was posted in a different section than where I've been looking so they've been trying to rehome for weeks. Maybe it's some sort of scam. IDK. But its frustrating! About ready to drive to terre haute. @Isadora T

I too have been surprised at the lack of communication skills when I use craigslist. I have told people forget it before because they take too long to get back to me. One time I was supposed to meet a guy but he never gave me the address. 20 minutes after we were supposed to meet he sent me a text saying he couldn't make it cuz he had to work, but we could do it the next day. And I just said never mind. It was not worth the hassle and the frustration.

Last night I was able to verify a time to meet to get the ducks today. Then, this morning I asked if they were sure these were female ducks, as I can't have anymore males, but haven't heard back - plus never got a meeting address. So, I guess I'm done with this set.
I will just keep looking.

I'm sorry you're having such a hard time! That really stinks.
I just sold all my ducks to the same lady today after having a lot of buyers either back out or ask questions and never show up.
