Indiana Organic Fertile Feeds WARNING

I recently bought a new bag of Indiana Organic Fertile Feed Layer food on Friday. I have bought this feed before. This particular bag was from a batch newly mixed that very day at Kern, Kirtley and Herr in Lebanon, IN. I thought the feed smelled a little funny when opened, almost sour, but didn't think alot of it at the time. 2 days later all of my chickens are showing symtoms of mycotoxin poisening- labored breathing, diarrhea, lethargy, excess water consumption, and lack of appetite. My chickens are kept in a coop with a tight run and have no interaction with wild birds. I will call the grain elevator in the morning to discuss, I just thought I would alert anyone feeding this food. -Alysha

Thanks for the warning. Sorry about your birds. Spoiled feeds are deadly. Lost two hens to one bad bag of feed myself--didn't realize anything was off till it got near the bottom of the bag.
