I just wanted to say that we just wrapped up and finished cleaning up! 12:00am!!

A big thank you to EVERYONE! I am so happy the we were all able to get together and have fun. We have a ton of photos but since I am running on three hours of sleep, tomorrow will be photo day! You guys really made this one of the best get-togethers I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. I hope everyone had a great time and wish we could have had more time to spent with all of you!

Ok, off to bed! Miss_Jayne and Rick will be leaving in the morning and I want to be up to make sure they have a pleasant send off!

Since we dont live too far apart, we'll have to get together for a day. We can chase the ducks and geese out one of the pools so the kids can get in one.

I don't know who made them, but it was the gooseberry pies that won.

It was great meeting everyone, but like 92caddy said, I'll be lucky to remember any!! There were a few that I spoke with a lot, so those I'll for sure remember. There were some there that I don't think I even met, so sorry that I missed you!! I just got home about 30 minutes ago (12 am CST, 1 am EST). Chuck is on his way back to Louisville. We made a pit-stop at his house so he could tend to his dogs, or we would have been back a little sooner.
I'm a few quail lighter than I was when I left, and a few chickens lighter. Surprisingly, I only brought back 2 different birds than those I left with, now I get to experiment with mottled x partridge cochins

Though, if babymakes5 would have brought some more silkies, I think I would have been in trouble!! That girl that asylum got was gorgeous!!

We had a great time, and Cris (my son) slept most of the way home. Big plus, I just hope he doesn't wake up at 5 am!!

I got some marans eggs, something I've been wanting for a long time!! Luckily, I have a broody OEG, so they should do well

It was a great party, and it was wonderful to meet all of you!!

It was a fabulous Party and for those that couldn't make it or said they were coming and didn't, all I can say neener, neener, neener you all missed it! Better luck next year!

Kathleen and Rob thank you both for a wonderful afternoon, you two are very gracious hosts. Heather that is one of the best pics of me I have seen in years, I had a blast and I am sure Shelley and her son Christian did as well.

I even got to take a wack at the remains of the pinata with the infamous shovel.

I'm glad to read that your Chickenstock went off so well. We sure enjoy ours. The food at ours was unbelieveable as well and I'm already looking forward to the next one. Again I'm glad you had such a wonderful time.

Good morning! Sounds like everyone had a super dooper time! I know we did. It was funny seeing the chickens try to cut loose, and then 10 people trying to catch one bird! Did they ever catch the brown hen?

Where was Miss Jayne's famous fudge? I am soo sorry I missed it. The cheesecake was to die for, chicken kabobs were great as was everything else! I wish I could've eaten more!

I have never seen so many donated items at a get together like this. (Better than a family reunion.) The people are what brings us together and makes it all so special!
