Oh yes, and I also wanted to shout out to miss Jayne and say you are a TALENTED face painter. That was so nice of you to do that. You were certainly a hit. I wanted to stand and just watch.

And somebody (sorry, forgot your name

) told me about somebody on this website that had plans for making a DIY incubator. Does that ring a bell? I'd love a link!

Hope everyone made it home safely and Kathleen and Rob are putting their feet up right now!

I did NOT make the pinata, I only stuffed it and patched it up. I did NOT use cement or kevlar (although it looked like it!)

What a great day we had hanging out with all of our BYC friends. Great food, great people = great times. A special thank you to Kathleen and Rob for hosting this backyard bash

It was a pleasure to meet all of you, I look forward to the next time we get together.

It was soooo nice meeting you all. We should do this monthly!!!!

Arrived with 8 chickens, came home with 4, three of which are brand new!!! So of my original 8....i traded/sold 7 of them to all of you!!! Heck i think i made away pritty good.

On the raffle i got 18 guinea egg's, a new watering system from "McNugget"...and i just couldn't believe when schultz mom decided to give back the hand painted rooster plate she won and then pulled another number and it was mine!!!! Again i think i got away pritty good.

I still have NO CLUE what im going to do with my egg's. Who ended up winning the best dish contest??? I would be a liar if i said i was not hopeful to win it with my chicken salad sandwiches.

Those chicken salad sandwiches were my second favorite-after the Collard Greens! Who made that dish? I would love the recipe for that as well as the sandwiches!! We all had a wonderful day, too! I ended up getting rid of 9 birds-one was an OOPS!

and I only brought home 2 adorable Silkies and 4 long-awaited Royal Palm turkey poults! Well, and my quail, but that's okay, with them.
Schultz, thank you so much for hosting this and you deserve a month of rest!

It was so nice to meet everyone and put faces to the names! Even my hubby had a wonderful time-and as of last night he wanted to back out and all stay home!
