I went to bed shortly after posting my first message on here.
Not sure how this first round of chicks is going to turn out. My blue splash silkie pullet was in with my other chickens including my Gold Duckwing OEGB roo. I made a seperate silkie pen about a month ago when I acquired a pair of Dark Partridge silkies. Within a week the hen went broody and is sitting on a dozen eggs, some of which are probably the blue splashes' eggs, which more than likely will be mixed between the Gold DuckWing OEGB roo and her.
I do have a buff pullet, two blacks, two more splashes and a dark grey coming along but they are still babies yet.
Here is what I have currently, aside from the silkies:
8 Racing Homers( no chicks as of yet, need a couple of more hens)
4 Regular Fantails, (Not Indian)
3 Production Reds (Pullets)
2 RIR (Pullets)
2 BO (Pullets)
4 Rainbow layers (Pullets, White)
1 SLW (Pullet)
2 Barred Rocks (Pullet)
1 Golden Polish (Pullet)
1 Austrolorp (Pullet)
1 EE (Pullet)
2 Porcelain D'Uccle (Pullets)
2 Mille Fluer D'Uccle (Hens)
1 Black Bantam Cochin Roo
1 Black Bantam Cochin Pullet
1 Trio OEGBs (Roo & 2 Hens)
1 baby OEGB (?)
and of course the silkies
1 Black male Rex Rabbit
1 Brown Rex Doe
4 Baby Rabbits (2 black, 2 brown)
6 Min Pins ( All Rescues that I adopted)
30 tanks of tropical fish (Now empty thanks to the winter storms, just need to finish cleaning them out, resetting and restocking)
4 English Budgerigars
8 Regular Parakeets
1 lonely Zebra Finch (Will be getting some buddies this week)
1 Pair of Ringneck Doves. (Producing eggs, but no babies)
My neighbors are now referring to my house as the local zoo!
What I would like to get is a white silkie hen or pullet, a couple more Racing Homer Hens, maybe some guppies or other tropical fish. Hopefully by then I will have my breeding tanks back up and running and my Bettas will be breeding. If they are and the babies are big enough I might bring some of them.
