I hope it all works out for Shiloh! Our rescue just took in a part-pitbull that was chained out by a road. Hardly any shelter- fleas galore and skinny! I haven't seen it yet, but the poor thing deserves better than what he had.

I got some peaches and gooseberries from a local u-pick berry place. So, I'm going to make a couple of pies to bring this weekend. I've never had goosberry pie but I got a recipe from allrecipes.com. I've gotten some awesome desserts from there. So, you all can be my guinea pigs!

It IS good-- we used to have gooseberries here and we made pies out of them. I love peaches too! OMG! Just coming for the fellowship & food & chickens---what a PARTY!

Gooseberry pie, Peach Pie, Cheesecakes, brownies, hot dogs, hamburgers, all kinds of salads, Oh MY!

I better make sure I wear my expandle waist pants! I'm bringing plenty of doggie bags, just on the odd chance there might be some left.

And it looks like right now Saturday is gonna be the only decent day, weatherwise, of the weekend.

I'm looking for a bantam cochin rooster that look like this hen. IF anyone has one for sale, bring him to the swap.

I got 5 self blue silkies in May, and I'm 95% sure that the ones I have left are all roos (one had a leg issue from shipping and did not survive, one, also male, I shared with a friend). They are about 3 months now, and I would really like a silkie hen. Does any one who is coming have a hen for sale, or trade? My friend is coming and I know she would be willing to pick it up for me. I am not looking for show quality, though I would like it to be true to the breed. I would trade a couple of roos (self blue silkie or black frizzle cochin) or pay cash. Pics are available if any one is interested.

Is there anyone who would be interested in bringing things like aluminum foil, assorted crackers for my cheeseball, charcoal, condiments or any of the things I may be forgetting??

Thanks beckt!! I would say like 2 rolls of 75ft would do just fine. ketchup and mustard would bre great too, wow thanks a bunch, I hope this isn't over burdening anyone
