Indoor chicken enclosure for seramas

Hi there! What did you decide to do? We have one single Malaysian Serama cockerel who will need to come in the house with us, as we live in Maine. I am looking into tall (37' or greater) bird/small animal cages that have a slide out bottom. I plan to put wood stove pellets into the bottom to absorb the waste that falls through the wire bottom. I would love to hear what you ended up doing and what worked or didn't work!! Thanks!

No can do here, I'm in MAINE!!! BRRRR. It's already getting down into the mid-30s at night.

My serama are outside with the LF as well (Iowa winter temps can be down to -10/20 but average around 0, with no added heat) last year we got much colder (-30F) and I did add a heat lamp as even my large fowl were struggling with the sudden change. I do keep an indoor enclosure just in case I need to use it and boy I was glad I had it when the temps went that low. My seramas never would have handled that sudden drop.
