Love this. Did she hatch by herself?

Although it doesn’t make any sense as to why she can fly so well if her parents are both ducks that can’t really fly too great.... if anyone knows how the genetics work there feel free to explain!!!

My kahki can fly but shes getting heavey so now she cant

Usualy theres a point where they can "fly" then they gain adult weight and cant fly at all

So this flying might be temporary?! That might be best case scenario for me as I plan to take her kayaking this summer with me. New kayak, extra large cockpit so theres plenty of room for her!

You need to have someone video this! It will be fun to see how my ducks react to my kayak. Mine are not tame.

That was our plan with the boys. Unfortunately they are afraid of dirty, cold water. Lol. They want warm, clear water. They've totally failed at our plans of them following the kid on his daily swims.

I HAVE A CREEK IN MY BACKYARD. THE PENNYPACK CREEK. 15 FEET AWAY FROM MY HOUSE. AND GILBERTA WILL NOT GO IN IT UNLESS BOTH OF HER PARENTS DO BECAUSE ITS COLD AND DIRTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (the smile on my face right now because it's not just my duck!) @Miss Lydia I really hope she will want to spend lot's of time in the water because that's what I want her to be able to do when it's warm out. Because of this ^^ I am afraid kayaking will result in taking a swim with Gilberta until she's use to it!!!

I can't wait to take her, I am so excited to see how she reacts but I know she'll love at least just sitting on the kayak with the wind blowing and the sun shining! I will definitely take lot's of pics and videos.
