I saw someone else on here using the word quaviary, and I love it. Don't know who though, let me know if it was you.
So, for now anyway, I have decided that my hearth will be the best place to put my quaviary. It's 6' long and 32" deep. I'll take it up to the horizontal logs (it's a log home), which is a bit over 6' tall.
I have a roll of 1/2" hardware cloth, hog rings and pliers (we'll talk about that later) and a tarp for a liner. I want to use the deep litter method. I will take lots of pics on this journey.
I've also got an incubator on the way and started a hatch-a-long earlier this morning.
Give me a minute to get a pic of my liner, which I just finished shaping with LOTS of packing tape because I didn't think of duct tape until I was almost finished.

They leave sharp points no matter how I squeeze those pliers. And they make for a very loose join.
