Indy area Chicken work Co-Op

Ok so I'm crazy excited about this. What all should I buy to get it converted? Would you guys that are hauling be able to work on it with me? Also can I get the number for the guy who will put in a run for cheap?

Could we use a jigsaw to cut out windows for ventilation?

I can't do this weekend, DH committed to working overtime. I usually need at least a week ahead planning to make sure my Moms care is covered and his work schedule. If it goes to next weekend, pretty sure we can help then.

It's usually easiest for us to plan at least a week or two in advance, too.

Okey so nobody can haul it this weekend right? Just want to make sure before I send her the email lol.
This weekend is booked for me. I have a truck and trailer and could pick it up and haul it next Saturday morning. However, the rest of the day is booked too, so I'd have to take off after we get it dropped off.

As far as what else you would need.
Enough wood to make some sort of a door.
A latch to keep the door closed.
Hinges to attach the door.
Hardware cloth to cover any windows and vents you cut out.

anyone think of anything else?

I'll send you a message. I know it would be so much easier to post it here, but I think there is a rule against posting a phone number unless it is mine. And no way am I planning to post my phone number.

Furring strips for perches?
Every thing Patrick listed above.
2x4 laid so the wide side is the part the bird will stand on if you are getting large fowl. Nesting boxes. The run guy made my exterior boxes. Keep in mind that nesting boxes are to chickens what bathrooms are to people. One box for 4 chickens is more than enough in most cases. While I prefer the inside nesting boxes, here is a link to the outside ones.

My DH can help load but not even unload really as we have a busy day planned too. Hopefully there will be someone who can help unload that maybe could not help load.
