Yeah I've screwed things on to plastic before so that's a possibility. I agree it's pretty nice and that extra storage on the side would be nice. I assumed plastic sheds would be easier to disassemble. ..hopefully so. And hopefully they will take 100$ lol.

Even if you do end up paying closer to full asking price, it seems to be a great deal!

Oh its a great deal...but that's all I can pay with what I will need to convert it, fix the roof and build a run. I have a feeling I'm just gonna end up having to build the 4x8 coop with the porch.

You don't have to do everything right away or at once. Will the roof work for a while? Can you build a temp run until you can afford to put money into a nicer one? I think most people's coops are a work in progress and if you can spread the cost out and give them a lot more space I think that is a nice compromise.

I can't go to lowes with you, but I will offer some advice to try and save you money. If you are going to use the curved plastic roofing, it does not go over plywood. instead it goes over a tic tac toe of 2 x 4 supports and every screw hole is supposed to be pre drilled to prevent cracking. Also all seams are to be caulked to prevent leakage. In the end I found the cost of the plywood, tar paper, and shingles to be a tad cheaper than the plastic roof for our large coop but for my DH install the plastic was a lot easier.

Next if you decide to get the shed from Bargersville, on Saturday, my DH can help load it.

Until winter, you could just cover the roof with a tarp. They are cheap. And if tied down correctly, they will last at least the summer. Then you could save up for the proper materials to do a good roof. It would also give everyone some time to plan a day to help build it.

Ok perfect the shed in Bargersville the lady will take 100$ for it. And it's got a solid roof. It's a little small for 12 chickens but it's better than what we were planning. And I think 6 foot tall will fit outside my fence. I don't think we will be able to get it into my back yard but I will check. If we can I would like to do that.
