You can only do so much, but trying again later might help. Tapping the bowl or dropping a few pieces of crumble on top may get her intersted. How does her crop feel? She may not have an appetite. Sometimes giving a couple of drops of chick vitamins orally might help appetite.

Thank you! We happened to have a syringe laying around so I filled it up with a combination of food and water and I got one tiny squirt in her big, because she kept wiggling. I felt her crop and it defintely feels empty, sort of like a divot. I will try the syringe again tomorrow. Do you have any strategies so that she doesn’t wiggle as much so I can get more food in her? Thank you so so much for all of your help!

What does crop or tube feeding require? I think I will stick with the syringe if that is sort of like a procedure, just to minimize any risk of fatal errors, but if it’s easy I would definitely be open to it. She has recently started sleeping and standing with her her curled to the tight (picture included below) do you have any idea why that might be? I have felt around and it sort of feels tight or like a kink, but that could just be because it was in that position. Should I try to move her or just let her be?
