Infection or tumor??

That what I was thinking. To have a ooz’y wound says to me it’s growing a secondary infection. Lack of air flow. Once you debrie the scab it’s open. If I took a stab at it I’d clean it off...let it dry for a day and apply athletes foot cream. If it’s fungal it should respond and if it’s bacterial I’d use antibacterial spray. I’m leaning towards fungal. I think a updated photo with just a small area removed would be a good place to start.

Sounds like a nasty “hot spot” if your dogs have ever had one...then you know what it’s like. I’ve never treated favus. But I have given treatments for mange and hotspots.
The OP might think about dissolving baby aspirin into a gallon of water depends on weight but 4or5 per gallon sounds good to me.

I tried to remove it but that thing doesn't wanna budge and I didn't wanna cause more issues by forcing it. Got a small piece off (in picture) nothing happened when it came off....no oozing, bleeding, pretty much looks the same underneath.

Do you have any Vetericyn Wound Spray? If not I would make some homemade saline and clean it twice a day with saline, dry it with a paper towel, and apply plain Neosporin or Triple Antibiotic ointment twice a day. Homemade saline below:

Dissolve 1 tsp of table salt into 8 ounces or 1 cup water water, and heat in a microwave for 2 minutes, and cool to room temperature. Place in a clean jar. Use with a sprayer or pour it on.

Just an update: I haven't seen any improvement really so I am getting penicillin and amoxicillin today to try a different approach. A tiny bit of the scabs have come off with soaking but not much. I will attempt to soak more often tonight and tomorrow and to peel off more with some tweezers to get the ointment to really penetrate the wound.

You might want to try an Epsom salt compress by placing a washcloth or gauze on the wound that has been soaked and wrung out with the water mixture. Add 2 tablespoons or 1 ounce of Epsom salts to 8 ounces (240 ml) of warm water, and stir to dissolve. You can also make a paste out of 1/2 ounce 15 ml) hot water stirred into 1 ounce (30 ml) Epsom salts. Cool slightly to body temperature before using. Keeping the wound moist with antibiotic ointment can help.

If you don’t mind placing her into a warm bath to soak for 20 minutes, that can be a good way to scrub away a little of the scabs. Usually scabbing is the body’s way of protect the wound.

thanks @Eggcessive for both of your replies! I was doing the washcloth in epsom salts 2x a day 15 mins per wound at first but it really wasn't softening up the wound. I found a smaller storage tub that is deep enough to soak both wounds. I put her in there for 30 mins ea day yesterday and the day before. This is helping soften up the scabs. I think she actually likes it she just chills in there the entire time haha. I was lightly wrapping the wounds in gauze until yesterday afternoon I came home on lunch to find half of one of the wraps down her throat! :barnie So no more wrapping. I can definitely try the paste though. Worst case scenario she may get a little diarrhea. I will also try the amoxicillin first per your recommendation!
