Infectious bronchitis? Gurgling chickens, how to get rid of them?

If they're culled, are they safe to eat? Someone gave me 14 chickens a couple days ago. My new roo started gurgling the day after I got him. The weather is cold and windy and they're all from a compromised flock. I don't have the ability to bring them inside for treatment, and would rather cull the roo than have him suffer. Your opinions?

i would not eat them. i would seperate any that looked sick and cull
