Infectious coryza

Since her eye is swollen, she may have trouble seeing food and water. They also can become sleepy, so make sure that she drinks well by offering water frequently, and perhaps making a fresh bowl daily of chicken feed made wet with a lot of water. Add a few bits of egg to make it appetizing.

Clean her eye with saline or water, and then apply the eye ointment twice a day. Good luck, and I hope that she gets better.

sunny is looking better and feeling better today.

Warm wet compresses to her eye may help to clean it. Sometimes pus can collect in the sinus and eye socket, and may need to be removed. Glad that she is feeling better.
