Infertile?

Hello, this is my first hatch in a little less than a year and I'm on day 4. I candled today and the eggs look no different than day one. I used eggs that were laid by a hen who was mated about a week earlier and I put them in an egg carton on a shelf. They're white eggs, but I see no development at all. Should I try again?

You may have to wait a few more days to see development. Have you also checked to make sure your incubator temps are correct, just in case?

It's a broody

I don't think they're fertile because they're white and look the same.

Possibly not then. Where did you get the eggs?

From the broody. I saved them before she went. She's a bantam, so I was thinking maybe that's why I don't see anything? They might be small so I can't see them? The rooster is a standard RIR.

Would it help if I change the angle of the light?

Just wait to day 7 and see if it's fertile if not u might try to set fresher eggs
