Info on how to ship chicks please!

I've never sent or received chicks in the mail. I have the shipping boxes ordered, so that part is covered. My question is about paperwork. Does anyone know if I have to be NPIP to ship? Is there a difference for in state or out of state? Is there any health forms that need attached? Any business forms? I know it's overnight shipping....is there anything else I need to know?

I don't know, but I would suggest that you go to your local post office and talk to them. Either they will be familiar with the process, or its better for you and them to have researched it ahead of time before you show up with chicks to mail.

Thanks! I did try to ask them and they are just as confused as I am. lol I live in the middle of farm country though, so I expected that
