Infomercials you didn't resist? I admit Eggies got ME

The Eggies are awesome for hard-boiled eggs. Deviled eggs for work food day - the flat side made for 6 converts the first time. Egg salad. Pickled eggs. We love them.

I hate to say it, but we're suckers for the as seen on tv section in stores. Between my mom & I, we've tried: Magic Bullet (which I love), Depi Silk, Heel-Tastic, Micro Trimmer, Bumpits, Cami Secret, PedEgg, Topsy Turvy, Hercules Hooks, & Ultra Smooth. The only one I really like or use is the Magic Bullet. We've both been wanting to try the Eggies, though. I make deviled eggs for just about every church dinner & family get together, & I hate peeling the eggs.

Oooh, you just made me remember that I got Heal Tastic, Bumpits, PedEgg, and Ultra Smooth, too.

Also got a couple of those trimmers for eyebrows, sideburns, and facial hair, etc. One lighted, one not. Those actually work well. Guess I'm more of a as seen on tv buyer than I thought! LOL

Oh yeah, I have a PedEgg too. Reading these posts are reminding me that I do have a few of these TV gadgets, LOL.

Yeah, I know how to boil eggs nicely so they are easy to peel, but it's still a lot of work. I was thinking the Eggies were stupid, what's the point, then I tried it. I'm a lazy slacker. Family gets pretty deviled eggs, otherwise, Eggies!

So how do you make deviled eggs from it? Do you cut the eggs in half? I'm just not visualizing how it would work without lookin a little strange.

I am wondering that too

Well, like I said earlier, I think it WOULD look a little strange. It would work, they'd just look oddly shaped is my best guess. And yeah, you'd cook them and then cut them in half. Same concept, but not egg shaped.

It must not be beautiful to do or else they's show it on the infomercial...they just show the finished dish, lol. I'm picturing 1 stuffed devil egg per egg, instead of 2 halves (which I think would be cool).

Do you have to trim off the top to pop out the yolks? Or do the yolks stay at the top and pop right out? It's drivin' me crazy not knowing.
