You should have and you better finish Eldest faster than you finished Eragon or I'll have to teach you the proper technique of reading.

I love this series!!!!
I was thrilled when he decided to write four books instead of three.

I love the series, too!
But I was really really (think swear words) upset with him for dragging out the series. I want to know what happens!

I take my book everywhere too, unless I know I'm going to be busy that day (Sundays when I'm out ALL DAY and I'm doing stuff the whole time).

You guys are great! I love anyone who is into reading.

I've read Eragon and Eldest, but I haven't read Brisingr yet. Have you ever read the Dragonriders of Pern series by Anne McCaffrey? It comes highly recommended if you're into dragon books.

i encourage my kids to read, but they do it on their own anyways. my 9 year old son reads Clive Cussler novels. and not the kids series.

The movie in my opinion was absolutely horrible. The intentions of certain characters, and their motivations are totally different in the movie, the way they are described in the book and the way they look in the movie was different. I also got really attached to Brom while reading the book, and in the movie they did him no justice, especially when he died and they buried him. If you like the book, don't watch the movie.

I agree! If someone has never read the book, they will like the movie, but the movie left out sooooo much!

I didn't realize he decided to write a fourth book. I thought it was just to be a trilogy. I've not read Brisinger yet...guess I need to get my hands on that one! I have both Eragon and Eldest, so I need book 3 now LOL
