Inheriting a used coop

We were offered a used chicken coop to move to our property. No birds in it for the past 3 years. How do we clean it and what precautions do we need to take to make it safe?

I haven't seen it yet. Our son's friend is buying the property, and he offered it to us when they close on the property. At this point just wondering if it may be a feasible venture. Of course structurally we'd make sure it's safe, but concerned about potential
disease transmission.

After 3 years it's unlikely there's anything that survived from a previous flock. Do need to check if anything else has taken up residence in it in the interim, but otherwise, a sweep out should be sufficient as far as "cleaning."
