What do I do if I have another chicken and he keeps trying to pick at his headGet some chlorhexidene or Vetericyn wound spray, and treat him twice a day, followed by applying plain antibiotic ointment after each cleaning. Keep him separated in a dog crate with food and water, away from flies. Make sure that he is drinking water. It will take several weeks for his skin to come together, but this is a common wound that chickens can heal from.

At the moment I don’t have the money to buy any of that will ge be ok ?Separate him from the flock in a dog crate with food and water. It isn't that the flock mates are being mean, it is simply the nature of chickens to pick at the wounds of others.
Maybe put him in the basement (then make sure he doesn't stuck anywhere or injure himself on sharp tools) or something? I isolate my injured chickens in cages where bunnys used to live.At the moment I don’t have the money to buy any of that will ge be ok ?
the antibiotics would be nice to have but it isn't vital to the chicken's survival (hey i just rhymed!) if you can't buy that you could uses normal antibacterial cream that you would put on a normal cut. it's a common household first-aid sort of thing, and if you don't have it already you could buy some for under $10.At the moment I don’t have the money to buy any of that will ge be ok ?
We use Blu-Kote on our chickens wounds and kept it separated from the rest of the flock until it healed. (Available are most farm stores). My dog got a hold of one of my chickens and ripped out all its feathers on its neck what do I do ?
