Injured duck leg- possibly broken. Need advice!

Hello,
Today one of my children tripped while picking up our 8 week old runner, Oreo. The duck's leg is limp, he tried pulling himself along with his wings. There is no visible break or dislocation on the leg itself, so can I assume the problem is in his hip? I've seen many ducks with broken legs get along fine in life, as they can sometimes swim, etc. However, we're terrestrial here. He needs to walk, or limp along. Any thoughts on this problem? Does anyone have any prior experience with broken or dislocated legs? He was from a runt egg and already has a lot of developmental issues. He's small and often shakes when he stands for more than a few minutes (yes, with niacin). I have put him and his friend in their night pen with the hopes that some rest and quiet will help him with the pain. Your experienced input is greatly appreciated.
Having the same problem with my duck he wants to be with the other ducks, but they injured him in the first place. Need advice tooo

Hi, I just came upon this thread because I have been googling advice on a baby muscovy duck. As my husband and I were getting out of a dentist appointment we can hear a duckling crying and we came across a lady that had actually saved it from getting run over in a parking lot. I offered to take it as Ive saved many in my neighborhood. This was about 2 weeks ago and the issue is that its leg is growing out sideways now, the lady saw the tire roll over its leg. We dont know if it has a fracture or serious injury but I imagine its pretty bad if a car ran over its foot which I dont know how that can happen. We cant afford to take it to the vet but have been thinking of getting it humanely euthanized if its not going to get better instead of releasing a disabled duck. Any advice on what to do to make it heal on its own as he grows? I currently have it in my 20 gallon reptile aquarium with food and a shallow bowl, he eats purina duck food mixed with very little cat food and seems to look healthy other than the foot. I would appreciate any advice, thanks in advance.

One thing you can do right away start him on this
IMG_6024.jpeg

You can give him one ML per day squirted over a small dish of a treat like mealworms
The niacin in this vitamin B complex is the right kind and it’s a good high dosage
I would also get some nutritional yeast and sprinkle some of that on his food
Niacin really works wonders with duck legs and the nutritional yeast adds niacin too
Can you post some pictures

This Is message from miss Lydia (she is a duck educator on this site, but not able to get online since her Internet went out with hurricane Helene. Hopefully she’ll get it back soon.) she said:

Is there a picture? A duck shoe and she can make one if a bone or 2 are broken. She can use something like a cool whip container cut to fit the duckling foot onto it then wrap not over tight with vet wrap. Be sure to wrap the plastic in vet wrap before putting the foot on it. If it's the whole leg then a splint may work but since it's been going on for 2 weeks now hard to say if it will be totally corrected. Also the duckling needs niacin
