In the Brooder
Miss Lydia, I'm actually starting to ferment the duck and chicken feed this weekend, I hear that it adds a lot of nutrients to their diet and they get more out of what they eat! She only goes in the pool if I bring her over and plop her in, then take her out after a bit and is always supervised. She's started eating more since I've been providing her with a mash instead of crumbles and seems to be greatly improving. All of her wounds have closed up and are healing up nicely and now it's just wait and see, like you said.
Jake the Drake from Statefarm (husband named him
) is great with her. He isn't overbearing and stays close to her and gives her little love nips here and there and is always somewhere that he can keep a close watch on her
