Glad to hear she is better. The next coop I build will be solid at the bottom. My current one is commercial built and is okay since I have hardware cloth in and out. I was just guessing at the wound..

I know that is why I was asking where these ducks sleep. We know some just have them in a pen with chicken wire as their only protection and don't realize how dangerous that fencing since coons can stick their arms through and grab a duck. I hope what ever this is get caught on camera before it does more damage.
