Yes, he is limping and lifting it up to keep his weight off it.....I just went and read it. Is he still limping?

Maybe it’s farther up in the hip joint. I’ve had a lot of luck with gentle massage for weird invisible ailments like this (wry neck and such.) I’d put him in a crate outside with some soft bedding to restrict his movement and see how he is tomorrow. Put some garlic in his feed for anti inflammatory benefits.
No problem. How many in the flock? Sometimes I put a buddy in isolation with an injured bird so they don’t get sad about their time out.
I definitely will I picked up some probiotics and vitamins. I'll let him swim in his pool for a whileThe only way to help heal any kind if injury is rest and water therapy. If he keeps using the injured leg it will take longer to heal. Maybe he injured up around the hip but until you decide he needs a vet to see him. I'd let him rest as much as possible and no mating because that can just keep everything unsettled too as far as healing. Chasing the girls for mating then climbing aboard then falling off. lol Make sure if you let him in the pool that he has an easy way in and out they can hurt themselves there too.
thank you all I'm so glad I joined this site !!!
