Injured duck, what is wrong with her?

With her already having some problems we have found the best an quickest way of dealing with a nutritional imbalance is to get the DURVET vitamin BComplex TSC carries it and it will say injectable but we give it orally. You can put it over a treat they usually gobble it down an full dose would be 1 ml a day.

do you have any calcium gluconate? Not saying I know but with the way she looks in those pictures, I think she just could possibly be egg bound. I don't think it will hurt her to give her 1ml of calcium gluconate orally and see if that helps. It's always good to have that onhand just in case anyway so I'd try it.

I’ve been giving them crushed egg shells for calcium, twice a day for about two weeks so I was thinking maybe they were getting too much calcium. What do you all think?

I have also noticed white spots or sores on a couple of the ducks legs. Any idea what that could be?

I doubt if they are getting too much calcium from egg shells. It would be a good idea to put out a little bowl of oyster shells. They aren't expensive at all and last a long time. I take a little cup and wire it to my fence. The girls eat it when they need it. Sometimes the boys take a nibble too but that's ok.

I have no idea what the white sores are on their legs. @Miss Lydia or @casportpony might know. Can you post a picture of them?

Can you get close up pics? Beautiful avatar ! egg shells do give some extra calcium but honestly oyster shell is the best, but I will always keep on hand Calcium Gluconate after losing a duck to being egg bound.

Here’s the pictures of the sores. Some of the sores have scabbed over now.
