Injured eye

I hatched 7 chicks about a month ago and one of them started to scratch its own eye to the point of blood coming out a bit. I've been holding him since he started doing this as to not make things worse, but have no clue what to do.

Does the chick have any lice or mites?

General care is to flush the eye with saline, get the eye open and make sure to remove any dirt/debris or pus. Apply triple antibiotic ointment or an eye ointment like Terramycin in the eye.

Is the chick scratching at her ear too? Look inside the ear to make sure there's no infection.
