Injured Fledgling Wren, HELP!

I found my cat playing with it! It looks just fledged. It is in shock, but seems relatively unhurt. I don't want to bother it too much by poking and prodding for injuries. i have it in a cage with a layer of paper towel and some tissues with a towel over the top to keep it dark so hopefully it will sleep. I know wrens have very few fods they can eat, what are they? How do i get water into it? Please, anyone with experience let me know what to do! Any advice would be helpful. thanks in advance!

dang, no charged batteries. All right, Update: he keeps one eye closed and it looks like it's filled with dirt. can i clean it out some how? Q-tip maybe?

i'm charging batteries for the camera as we speak.

sorry for the triple post,but i just noticed that one of his wings is vibrating and he holds it loosly to one side like its hurt. he's also shivering.

yeah it's under one now.

i offered it a fly, a cricket and a earwig and it would have nothung to do with any of them. it hasn't eaten in at least 2 hours and i'm pretty worried.
