Injured or sick eye and beak on chicken

Pics
final update: she died last night. Thank you everyone for trying to help her. I think she needed oral antibiotics but I was told I needed the vet and didn’t know how or what to order online. In the future is there a chicken antibiotic that should be kept on hand for these unexpected situations?
:hugs:hugs

Very sorry for your loss. Some of the pigeon supply stores (Jedds, Pigeon Supply, others) online sell certain antibiotics such as Tylosin for MG, sulfa antibiotics for coccidiosis, coryza or fowl cholera, or metronidazole for canker. The only problem is that it can take a week to get them. They may expire in a year or two. They are also not necessarily the same pure drugs that a vet may sell. Some may come from China or India.

I noticed the shipping times when I was trying to find something. I knew she took a turn and didn't think waiting a week would work. It's frustrating that I could get a human version easier than a chicken version! I wish a had a vet friend that could help out but I need a better plan in the future. I almost put her in a box and just put her in the vet office so they would have to help her but I was scared they wouldn't.

They might not have..but then again...they may have. Always good to try. I think it is harder to say no in person. You would have been totally justified trying. Absolutely.

It's unacceptable that only some pets have value in the wider medical community. I just don't understand it myself.
