Injured or sick eye and beak on chicken

You can save money and time and make your own saline. I use 1tsp salt per cup of boiled water.

I wet a warm clean sponge with it and wipe/dab the eye and then flush as well.

How does she look currently. Comb colour improving?
Her demeanor has improved but not her coloring. Hopefully, now that I can get the medicine into her eye better and flush it, we will start to get this infection under control. Before there was the tiniest little opening and I was doing my best but I am not sure it was doing anything at all.

Well .. not going backwards so...there is hope! Sorry about your dog. I have a 14 year old. Not looking forward to it.

Thank you. I knew it would happened eventually but he took a fast downturn and it was still shocking if that makes any sense. I was trying to be with him and take care of the hen so it was a lot for bit. He had bad arthritis so I’m glad he doesn’t have to hurt anymore.
The hen seemed to like having her eye washed today, or at least she didn’t even move her head away! I could see one of the inner eyelids or nicitating membrane (not sure if that’s correct) moving and I could see her eye. I washed it well and then applied the antibiotic ointment. She was moving around well again today. Poor thing, but she’s trying!

It still looks bad, but in comparison to what it was, it is at least improving. I'd just keep doing what you've been suggested to do. An antibiotic would probably speed this up but she's making progress regardless. Hopefully, it keeps improving!

I need the vet to get the antibiotic where I am. Her appointment is in March :(

Had a confusing morning. I watched her eat 12 hours before I checked her today. Her crop emptied a little bit not fully after those 12 hours. I felt discouraged and like that was a bad sign.
I flushed her eye but forgot the antibiotic ointment. I went back about an hour later, saw something in it, flushed it again so I could add ointment and this glob came out (yellowish glob on qtip). Any idea what this is? Is this a good or bad sign?
Thank you all for sticking with me on this! Your help has been invaluable!
