If you can get some Vetericyn Gel Wound ointment, I would. The stuff is AMAZING. I get the gel because it sticks to the wound better. You'd be surprised how quickly they heal with this stuff.

Is your chick separated where flies aren't an issue? Wounds attract flies, so be careful there. You can crush 1/4 aspirin in 1 cup of water for pain as well.

Chickens can heal from some pretty horrific wounds. Good luck!

Alright thanks! Do you know where I could buy this stuff? Like just any pet store? And yes my chicken is seperated so there arnt any flys around it!
