Injured Quail

My quail is panting but not making any noise. I think it flushed upwards and hit its head on the top of the cage. I do not see any visible injuries and it it still walking around like normal. Is there anything I can do to help it?

Panting usually indicates stress or overheating. Has anything changed recently?

Some more information about its environment would help.
What species?
How many quail do you have?
How much space do they have?
What is the ratio of male to female?
Do they have hiding places?
What is their bedding/flooring?
How high is the roof of their enclosure?

A bonked bird will be stunned, wobbly, stiff, dead. A mouth breathing panting bird is hot, stressed or in respiratory distress.
