Injured rooster

He looks like he's in a lot of pain, is he still quarantined in a small space? Can you put him in a sling a part of the day? To take his weight off the leg? Feel his good leg and then his bum leg and look for bruising ( green colored). I agree with @nuthatched , vitamin e and b complex, give him some raw yolk and any yummy stuff he likes to keep him eating. Poor baby 😢
I did give him both vitamin b and e right now. He gobbled it all up. I’ll up the vitamin b as your other post suggested. He loves softly cooked egg, so I have been doing that daily, for the nutrients and as a treat. He still dives into his crumble and drinks well as well. He is in a small space, but a sling is a good idea, and the kennel he is in I could easily make one. That’s now my evening project! I don’t see any bruising on either leg. And they feel like there isn’t a major break.

It looks like his left knee joint is flexing forwards (instead of backwards like it should be) in the first video. Slipped tendon???
I’m honestly more leaning towards a tendon damage than a bone, it doesn’t feel to be slipping forward at the moment, however I agree it looks like that in the first video.

Unfortunately that isn’t an option. I just can’t afford that.
He is a bit swollen on his ankle joint, and he had bruising on his chest by his wings when it first happened.

Completely understandable.

Give him 1/2 tablet B-Complex daily.
I'd try Wrapping/splinting the leg and joint to see if you can stabilize it. Seems like his right leg is worse than the other. I wouldn't hobble him.
See that he's eating chick starter or an all flock feed and drinking well.

Hopefully he will heal.

The splinting manual may be helpful. I have used it to give me a general idea of how to wrap legs/feet, etc.

I wish I could, honestly.

He is on b complex daily, as well as vitamin e. So I will continue that! He is on grower food right now, and eats really well, drinks well and his poops look good.

That is a fantastic manual! I will definitely look at wrapping it again. I did initially , but I’m not sure I was doing it correctly. I have everything I would need so I will do that for him tonight. His right leg does seem to be the worst one. Today he is actually doing better than the video I took yesterday.

Do you think he needs pain meds still? I did have him on some for a week, but was unsure how long I could give it for. I was using infant tylonel at .15ml per a lb.

Personally, I wouldn't give pain meds, but if you feel he needs it, then give 1/2 of an 81mg (Low Dose) Aspirin up to twice a day for 3 days, instead of Tylenol which can be toxic to chickens.

Keep us posted on how he gets along.

Thought I would post an update. It appeared his hip was what was nothing him the most, so I did a body wrap, that included holding his right femur in place. As well he got multiple short times in his hammock. I would of done longer but he was trying to get out after an hour.. so I did it a few times a day, and put him in overnight. I did all this for five days. Now he is walking with a limp, but actually gets up to walk to the door of his kennel whenever I am near, and tries climbing on me for cuddles. So he is not healed by any means but he is in the right direction. He still gets vit b complex and vit e daily. We are taking it day by day, but his progress is very encouraging.

I'm glad to hear he is starting to improve!
Thank you for the update.
