Oct 18th my Turkey was injured in its own cage.. got his leg caught and ripped a large hole in his upper thigh area. The vet had no time and I had no time to waste, so I stitched it.. he's doing quite well as far as I can tell.. its scabbed over and hes calling to get out of his "sick" cage to rejoin his brothers who free range during the day. Should I pull the stitch yet? Im worried it'll open back up.. Can I just leave the stitch in? Can I let him roam again? He comes in every night... and I have him on amoxicillin as per others suggestions and the place they were purchased. Video in Google Photos https://photos.app.goo.gl/eccQm2SGodNEzQrH6

Way back before dissolviing stitches, I recall the stitches being left in for 7 to 10 days before being removed.
