Injured wing!

So my baby silkie got stuck on a screw I've put neosporin and petroleum jelly on it so far it looks good. The injured wing is a bit droopy and I've noticed it's affecting her walking and balance. I crocheted a little thing for "her" any advice on the position of sling? It's a makeshift thing and after work tomorrow i can make another one that is more properly fitted for her.

Thanks, she had it off on the other side and was flapping her wings in a fit when I picked it up haha. Apparently she doesn't like it, but I think it helped. Her balance is a bit better and she's moving more.
