injury or start of infection

My daughter & I were getting a pen of chickens ready for the 4H tour meeting yesterday & our nicest, young rooster has a leg issue. We don't know if is an injury or the start of bumble foot. He won't put any pressure ont he right foot - Any insights?

Is the trouble with his right foot? Or is it the right foot in the picture?

Is the foot warm or swollen or a funny color? Is there a scab on the bottom? Maybe it is just a sprain.

There is no sore & it doesn't seem warm so I don't know if soaking is a good idea (in the event of bumble foot) as if it is a sprain, I think that would make it worse. I didn't notice any bruising either. It is so strange as he was out walking around this weekend. I have included some additional pictures. It is the right foot in the picture (his left foot.) Thanks!
