I have 10 eggs that are on day 17 in my little gaint still air inqubater. However they went into lockdown today and ever sense I took out the egg turner the inqubater has been at 93 degrees and I keep trying to turn the temp up but it won’t work, I am worried about the little chicks inside the eggs. does anyone know if they will die in the eggs from this or not, and how I might been able to fix this?

Are you sure the temp is reading right?

maybe wrap the incubator with a blanket or towel to help hold heat?

I have mine wrapped with a towel(don’t cover an ventilation holes) because the room it’s in gets drafty sometimes.

any slight changes can affect the temperature, even knocking the sensor out of place. It should be where the eggs are. The further it goes from the heating source the warmer the heat source will get. So I am a bit confused by what you are saying you can't turn the heat up? So turning the dial does nothing an moving the sensor probe does nothing?

The inqubater does not read the temp you have to put one in your self, I did what one person said and put a towel around it and now it is reading 101ish and yes even if I turn the dial it does nothing. It has a mind of its own🤣
