Inserting a Photobucket photo in a post.

Ok so I did this for a friend having trouble so I figured I would post here for others having problems....


first login to photobucket
then click any photo
then select share

then select get link tab

notice my check marks in the 3 fields...
direct, img, html
click select the ones you use the most
save
then go to thumbnails and you will see something like this:

highlight and copy the direct link one
go to post

then

then select url

paste direct link in the import url box
submit
and it will post in the post like this:


you only have to do the photobucket thing once... from then on the link boxes will be under your thumbnails....

Wow, great job!!!

It looks like you are using the BBcode editor and not the default "Rick Text Editor" correct?

For those using the "Rich Text Editor":
The process is pretty much exactly the same, the main differnce is that after you click "Image URL" and insert the "direct link" URL from Photobucket, you'll see you image inserted into the post on screen instead of the bbcod text like

Thank you so much i am going to try this, i found it difficult to upload more than one photo at a time when telling my stories, it is the one thing i missed sense the change when into effect and i haven't been posting many images anymore.

Ok so this is a random video i got in a email... I uploaded to photobucket and played with getting it here.

NOTE I use the BBcode......... So it might be a bit different for "Rich Text Edit"

You want to select the video icon in the post creation window.
then in photo bucket choose the "IMG for bulletin boards & forums " link.
Copy that link to you post.

it makes the video a clickable link to the video.....

Had problems with it but will try again! I was not able to post as I used to. I hate to take so many steps to get a pic on here.
