It depends on your budget, but I found a supplier of hdpe sheets. Basically the white plastic cutting board material. I got 4x8 sheets that were half inch thick. Very easy to work with and very easy to clean and super hygienic. I fit the bottom tight and the weight holds it. I also went part way up my walls too and for that I screwed it on. Then I siliconed the corners. I seen at my Lowe’s today a sheet of vinyl board that looked similar and was rated for outside use. It was much cheaper.

I actually took the second roost bar out for now. The ang,e of the photo is deceiving there was over 18 inches between them. With the one roost bar , half the girls go to one end and half to the other and there is always about two feet left empty in the centre. Next year I am going to cover the top half of the walls with tounge and groove wood siding for a nicer look. I had to stop at this piping this year as my wife was starting to think I was crazy. These are going to be some expensive eggs lol

I used 1/2” hardware cloth. ( tip black is easier to see through ) then I have plexi glass sliding window panes to close if I needed. I used that hardware cloth on my run as well. All stapled it’s 1.5” stainless steel staples.
