Insomniacs unite!

For the first time in a long time I only got up once during the night and then went right back to sleep. It sure felt good. I was up at 6:30 and at 7 was out picking peppers to send to a nephew in San Antonio.
Amazing!!! I actually overslept this morning which never happens 😅
 
I hope I've got a mix of nighttime meds not that work. Finally. If I wake up I have a bottle of 10mg Natrol Melatonin formulated for back to sleep but still able to get up and function on schedule in the morning. So far that works pretty good. And then some nights nothing has worked. I just either stay online or lay in bed miserable most of the night.

I’m glad it works some nights at least. I had a mini breakdown yesterday because I’m just so exhausted. I haven’t had a good full 8 hours of sleep in WEEKS. It’s like my brain can’t even function. I was hoping for a full night tonight but one of my girls woke up with a leg ache 😣
 
Ugh I’m so sorry. My husband and I both had horrible “growing pains” as kids so we know how bad it hurts. I always get up with my girls when their legs hurt. I usually do a warm bath, meds and rub their legs. I’ve had the doctor run labs and everything to make sure it isn’t a vitamin deficiency or something and it all looked good so I’m not sure what causes them.
I had growing pains too when I was growing up, I presume it was due to very poor nutrition for the first 5 years of my life 🤷🏻‍♀️ I had them at night, and they were bad, I was crying and rubbing my legs, my mom sometimes woke up and rubbed a kind of chestnut salve on them, which made it a bit better..
 
I tried melatonin, but it made my glaucoma worse, so no joy there 🙄 I can’t remember the last time I overslept 🤪 I am happy if (!) I get 7 hrs of sleep, I usually am satisfied with 6, 4 is when I really start getting problems ( getting caught in speed traps 🤪) did I mention I only got 3 hrs of sleep on Sunday?! A friend celebrated her 60. birthday, I got home at 1, went to bed at 2, was so worked up I think I went to sleep at 3 and woke up before 6 🥱😴 that’s why I don’t enjoy going to parties, I would have loved to drive home at 10, but hubby was having such a good time I didn’t want to spoil his fun 😜

Oh boy! Sounds like a busy night! I need about 9-10 hours of solid sleep to feel human but I never get that so I’m a walking zombie most of the time 😅
