I am so sorry. I had sciatica when I was pregnant and it was so painful. I was awake around 430 because my oldest was having growing pains so I gave meds and rubbed her leg for a little while.Tonight is not looking good. No drowsy yet after a boat load of meds. Sciatica has got a good grip on me and will not turn loose.
Ugh Iām so sorry. My husband and I both had horrible āgrowing painsā as kids so we know how bad it hurts. I always get up with my girls when their legs hurt. I usually do a warm bath, meds and rub their legs. Iāve had the doctor run labs and everything to make sure it isnāt a vitamin deficiency or something and it all looked good so Iām not sure what causes them. When I was preteen my legs hurt all the time and the adults all told me it was just growing pains. I got no help for them of any kind. Finally after I was grown and married I went to a doc and he said he thought it was from bad arches and he had me to some exercises and it was a lot of help as it eventually went away. I've have the pain masked pretty well now and I know it will return soon. At least I can sit or lay down now and not hurt so bad I can't sleep. I've taken the full dosage prescribed on the bottles for pain, muscle relaxer, & nerve pain in my shoulder that is on fire. All I want to do is sleep. All I can do for sleep is the melatonin and one Benadryl at bedtime. Maybe tonight I can sleep the night through without having to get up for a couple of hours between 2 and 4a.m.
Do you have to drive or can you sleep in the car? When we go on trips, at least I can relax and take a nap.Awake againwe have a long (3 hour) drive in the morning.
