UPDATE: Labs. The numbers came back elevated. It is quite depressing. I've had to increase my insulin (which is brand new for me-I'm always uneasy to prick and stick). I've also had to nearly double the dosage of Prednisone. If you know Prednisone, then you know why this is something to complain about....
But, complain I won't. I have good people like BYCers from all over the country keeping up with my case and keeping me in thought. I get a new set of labs tomorrow, visit my psychologist Friday, and my follow-up appointment with my liver and hepatology team is Monday. I'll go prepared with an overnight bag...just in case.
But I'm hoping for the best!
Meanwhile, my nearly completed coop is missing a roof. A parent of one of my former students emailed North Carolina A&T State University's farm to tell my story and to ask if they would be willing to pick up and deliver the panels that I need in order to complete the roof. They MIGHT just do it. I hope so...
Talk later BYCers!
