Inspiring Story: Teacher, Transplant Recipient, and Chicken Enthusiast

TODAY HAS BEEN THE PITS.

I've been readmitted into the hospital, I've cried and shaken all day. I liver levels are soaring AGAIN. Over 4,000. This is rare. They've let me know. Now they will try (and they're "practicing" I know) IVGV which is given through IV and lasts for two days. TWO DAYS. SOrry to rant, but I am overwhelmed and mixed with emotion. And ..... a little angry.

*sighs*

I'm so sorry to hear this. Prayers continue to be sent your way. I hope they can figure out how to help you! Glad you were able to spend some time with your flock. Stay strong!

What's IVGV? Introvenus something? So sorry you have to be stuck in the hospital again when you have new chickies at home...

I am so sorry to hear that you are back in the hospital. I was rather surprised when I saw your update today. You are in my prayers and I think of you often. I know that this must be terribly frustrating for you and i hope that you will not let this setback put a damper on your outlook. You are a inspiration to many of us and I wish you the very best. I pray for comfort and strength for you and your loved ones and wisdom, determination, and compassion for those who take care of you in the hospital. Hand tough. We are all behind you!

Luke,

How are you today? What are the doctors saying? Hope you are hanging in there. Hope you will get home to your chickens soon.

I had a great day planting bulbs with kindergardeners. They had a little difficulty digging six inches deep and we only got 10 bulbs in the ground (50 more to go), but there's always tomorrow.
