Installed our timed lighting system yesterday!

I have one hen that did not molt for two years. I had to clip my pullets wings when they were young because they kept getting out of the chicken yard. The others her age molted long ago. She looked terrible with her stubby, ratty feathers for the last year or so. Finally two years later she is going through a pretty hard molt and her body looks nice as well as she is getting her wings back. As far as I know, they are all different as far as molting.

Ok thanks, good to know! :)

Lets have an update from this experience. I have had my chickens on timed light from the very beginning all the way through summer and this last winter they started molting and stopped laying. It has now been 3 months and they are still not laying??? I have looked all over those birds for a reset switch or button and can't find one. I'm thinking of hanging a stew pot in the coop!
