Integrating breeds

I have 25 Red Star pullets and 26 dominique pullets, three weeks old. I kept them in groups of a dozen, give or take, in wire-covered bins in the garage, and started taking them out to "play" at a week old. They are now three weeks old, almost fully feathered, and we are building them a coop.

My question is, how do I integrate them? Is it even possible to mix the two breeds? I have tried a couple times, but the Red Stars pick on the Dominiques almost right away, so I stopped trying. Any suggestions, or do we need two coops?

It would've been easier to integrate at the beginning, if you've had them that long. Are they about the same size? They are going to peck some, to establish a new pecking order.

You can just let them do their thing, unless it gets bloody. They will settle down after a day or two. It might help to let them loose into a large yard and have a bunch of treats ready, to distract them.
