Integrating geese and ducks

We just got 5 new ducks and 4 geese who have lived together their whole lives and we are trying to integrate them with our flock of ducks who are 1 swedish blue drake, a hen who became broody and never got any ducklings, 1 cayuga drake, and a mom with her 7 babies (6 weeks). Will they settle down and be okay overnight?

You should probably keep them as 2 separate flocks for a while and see how things are going to go.

I wouldn't trust the new birds with your existing flock until you have time to judge how they are going to get along. Some integrations take longer than others.

Our flocks are separated for the night, but we free range during the day, so we will see how tomorrow goes. The geese are very friendly with people and seem to bumble around wherever the ducks in their flock go.

We have been chasing chickens out of the road all morning, but the geese and ducks are doing fine.

The chickens are slowly getting the point that they will just be chased back if they cross the road. That grain on the other side sure is enticing though.

Saw a poster in a chicken shirt shop - red sex link rooster on the shirt with the wording "I can only dream of a world where my intentions will not be questioned when I cross the road."

They did not have a shirt with that picture/logo.

I've had mixed results integrating flocks, I have to keep the white Chinese away from everyone else, but the Toulouse do great with the ducks and chickens so I would say breed certainly factors in
